Primary Aim
My aim is to create an infographics video to raise awareness on how the
perception of beauty may be influenced, possibly distorted, by the media.
I aim to analyse how the portrayal of beauty put forward by the media
can influence the way a person may feel about themselves and highlight the
amount of exposure a person is susceptible to on daily basis.
An infographics piece will be the best suited way to achieve my goal of
informing the audience of the risks of the Media’s portrayal of beauty.
The purpose of this project is to educate young females who are
constantly pressurised to look a certain way.
Secondary Aim
On completion of
this project, I hope to have learnt new techniques in After Effects and become
more fluent in using the programme. I aim to know more about infographics and
how it can help display visual data in an interesting way. I hope to know how
and why the media has such a big impact on our views of beauty.
